Do You Think That Putin Will Ever Use Nukes?

I'm not certain myself, but by the way he's been conducting himself, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if he did. Thoughts?

No. I think he will want to, I think he probably already wants to. But I think the other high-ups in Russia know that the rest of the world won't stand for it. He keeps saying that he doesn't want outside interference in Ukraine, but using nukes will cause just that because everyone will feel like he has to be stopped immediately before he nukes anyone else.

Putin's forces sound like they're already having a harder time in Ukraine than expected, so it wouldn't be smart for him to bring even more enemies into the conflict than he's already struggling to deal with. Right now, the threat of nukes is what keeps other countries from joining in against him. Once he uses nukes, he's played that card, and then other countries will feel like they have to go in, because it will be all or nothing.

I think it is more likely than not that he will team up with Elon Musk and Donald Trump and blow up the sun so that Donald will be the most orange thing in the galaxy.

Look at the bright side. If he does use the nukes, that will start a domino effect and before we know it, we will be living in the fallout universe.

I think some country will be launching a nuke in the next two decades for sure. It might be an accident by way of cheap sub-par Chinese electronic control system. Or, it might be due to a weak cyber security setup. Everybody is in such a rush to get things remotely controlled and on a cell phone, I can see one country hacking another countries missles and sending them a launch code to a third country.

I could see Putin launching one of North Korea's nukes, that they supposidely don't have, at a nato country. That would be quite clever and really stir things up while denying doing it. I think south Korea has a hair trigger on their, non-promoted, nuclear missles that are aimed at north korea.

We already lucked out once when Vasili Aleksandrovich Arkhipov prevented the earth from being reduced to a burn cinder. Who knows how long the luck will hold out.
