Best Musics in TV shows/movies.

Over the last 1 year I have been watching a lot of British TV series, especially the ones made by BBC, like Sherlock, Doctor Who. I am amazed by the quality of the Music these TV shows have.

Is it just me or do the American TV shows don't really have such high quality music to complement the TV shows?

I liked a good deal of the musical cues from Xena: Warrior Princess.







I find a lot of American shows tend to overuse indie or pop songs. Then again, I've seen a few British shows that do the same, so I wouldn't say it's an American thing.
