Minty-my sister loves in Newport-although she's hardly ever at home as she & her man are truckers.

That's about 3 hours east from my hometown. Have only ever travelled through on my way home, never stopped there.

There's an unwritten attitude there, when somebody gets passes out from drinking, that's when drinking really starts...

When my sister & I were on holiday in Thailand, the locals found the idea of two unacompanied ladies drinking Thai whisky like it was lemonade a bit unusual-until they found out we were Scottish lol

Lol... Of all the things to be number one in the world for, it can't be good when the country is number one in average shots they take in a week... And notice how they're number one in "hard liqure" consumption, lol... That's not counting beers & low alcohol content drinks... I think the article said korea is 13th in other drinks... I think that's one of the reasons why I am the way I am with drinking... Though I can't really blame my "drinking tendencies" on social environments alone, it suddenly can't help growing up in it... There are other articles explaining on how public drunkness looked upon by different cultures... I think, don't quote me on this, korea has one of the most leaneant laws about being drunk in public... I sometimes wonder how there's not a lot of drunk related crimes there... I'm sure it exists, but strictly on statistic sense of the way, I'm fairly sure that korea also has lowest drunk related crimes...

Where I work makes a drink called "porn star". I get great joy asking my boss if she can get me a Tall Porn Star.
