Lately ive been attempting (and failing) to look for ways to deal with my lonleiness-ness. Im not a very good in person conversation starter, as i assume most of you are as well so i decided to go the "meet people by default route" by offering myself to volunteering in my community. Great idea right? Not really, ill probaby write another post about how terrible my state is when it comes to offering volunteer services if your searching for one. The design and organization is just... just.... just terrible.. like a retard could better, hell i can do better if i wanted to and i know jack honeysuckle when it comes to making websites.
ANYWAYS i then turned over to "meetup.com" and look under my state and typed in volunteer. Now there were serveral volunteer groups im looking at but then i noticed some other meet up groups, some of which made me say "WTF? are you serious?"

YES YES! Pretty single girls, if your a pigeon go join this group and bag yourself a millionare! Look at the organizer, manishroy, he's not advertising his "secret" to being a millionaire, that guy wants to mess around. Sader thing is the meet ups thus far 4 meet ups, 3 of which only 1 person attended and the one meet up that had 2 people was probaby some chick who was looking to bag a millionaire.... oh i checked, yay for her.. I really do hope she was disappointed

Christian church meet up group, great idea right? (im not a christian myself) Except this group if you were to join is to meet up at someone's house and watch a DVD sermon from a pastor in Maryland (this meet up group is in seattle). Seriously man.. where is the logic behind that? If i was a church go'er wouldnt i... umm... you know... go to the church instead of your house? Well apprently it was a bad idea since that meet up group has been active since july and still has ONE MEMBER!

A meet up group for swingers, hey awesome idea, however guess who are the only attendee's. Yes men. men men men and more men. How akward is it to show up to this meeting as a guy and bump into another guy named "joel," oh yeah this guy apparently shows up allot here. Not to be mean but who can resist Dominic in your swingers club http://polyamory.meetup.com/390/members/8137125/ ? Seriously how did this group even get off the ground if off at all?

Anyways there are allot of odd meet up groups, witches, transgender, ex-jehova witness meet up? yes odd but i guess they have some substance to them and they cant be poked fun at. There also seems to be allot of great ones too, im kinda wondoring if anyone has done something like this and do they really work out? Most of these "meet ups" have only 2-3 people show up unless its some event like a football game and you get BAM 20 people showing up.
