I agree with BJD on this one. I almost always get along with everyone no matter the circumstances, but I am not sure if I would call it being "comfortable" with the social environment. Though I am not completely sure how to explain the feeling overall either.

Hmm...I do it by observation. Some of my friends are incredibly introverted, while others are gregarious bordering on annoying haha! I believe there is an ebb and flow to their lives that brings them to my attention or the opposite. It is about gauging the situation and making thoughtful choices...

Not really. When people cross-culturally date, things can be lost in translation, but the exposure generally makes both better people. But one would have to have that experience to comprehend that no?
