Beautiful Loser by Bob Seger offers consolation for when you are disappointed in yourself. Segar is trying to convey on a deeper level the beauty that you can find when you can make peace with losing self acceptance.



Keeping with the country pop theme, King Kenny's The Gambler compares what you experience in life to a game of poker. When you can slow down and take stock of what you have you'll be better prepared to play the game later on. Appreciating what you have in the current moment will help you appreciate yourself even when things ain't going so well.
