have no friends

I have literally been screwed over by every friend i have ever had, and have no one. I have never ever had anyone who would stand there and support me.

it has made me feel like a social leper. i have only associated with my wife's friends over the last 2 years, and even then i knew they invited me because of her, after new year i don't even have them now.

i am a very lonely person

I am in a similar situation though I don't have a partner.

Try and join a club, course or volunteer? Yeh it's scary the first time going in but you can meet people with similar interests as you and it can really help.

I really hate some of these ads that pop up...

Anyway, being screwed over by friends is not such a good feeling. If you need to vent go ahead and do it let it all out, it might make you feel better.

I've been alone for about 100 years.

I have 1 1/2 friends (the half is a friend of a friend)

My advise is to treat your wife very well
BUT DON'T OVERWHELM HER WITH NEEDINESS

Get hobbies, take classes, stay busy.

For what it's worth, I'm envying you having someone.
