hi folks
im new here and even human contact through the keyboard is turning out to be so hard.
im divorced, as im sure many of you are, and after 20 years of marrige i have lost the ability to socialise alone. I was fairly messed up for quite a while after i was dumped on the scrap heap and lost contact with litaraly all my friends.
i am now sat in my grotty little house, missing my kids, missing the life that i thought i would have forever and it feels like every hour is lasting a year.
dont really know what else to say.
AAAAGGGGH!!! why is this so difficult!!!

Do you have a job? And why did you lose contact with all your friends? Do you get to see your kids?

Occupy yourself with things to do; if everything else fails, read. That's what I always do. I get lost in a book and forget about where I am for the day.

yes i do have a job, thats part of the problem. im an engineer and i get sent all over the country working. lots of lonley nites in hotels.
i see my kids as much as i can but its never enough for me.
I lost touch with my friends during my marrige realy,,we were a verry close family we had our small circle of friends and each other. when the ex-wife had her mid life crisis and ran off with a 23 year old i kind off lost the plot a bit.
spent a lot of time severely depressed and shut away on my own.
