Really, those totally look like pawns.

Anyone else love board games here? I used to play them all the time but this semester is really draining, and I've not integrated the university community much at all, so I don't know anyone that'd like to play. Sure, I could play strangers online, but it's not the same when you don't know the person. I did get to play with two old friends today and it rocked.

I'm sure I'm not the only fan around here.

The logo does indeed look like pawns from a chess board. And I think that is appropriate. The pawn is the loneliest piece on the board. Sent forward to be taken, it can only move forward. Sure it gets lucky sometimes and takes another piece, but usually it gets taken in turn. But, on occasion the lowly pawn, the expendable, makes it all the way across the board. And when it does, it can become whatever other piece it wishes to be.
Isn't that what all us lonely people are looking for? To become something more than we are?
