Well lucky you! Not until I was 8 and 1/2 years old. Rural. But I went to a country School for 8 years and it never had plumbing.

Yes. But, I was only on solar power for several years. I learned that changing the indoor temperature uses, by far, the most power.

Yes I believe so. I even got my own digital color TV in 1982. ha! ha!

What a cushy life! I was six and a half when we got a tv.

Yes. Whoever had a child who had a birthday had to bring cake and ice cream to the school and I really hated when everybody sang Happy Birthday to me because I don't like attention in that way. I definitely loved mom's cakes though and all those cute little crunchy candy on them.
