Wait... there was also the single mother who later got banned from a bar for using cocaine in the toilets. How could I forget her?

Do you mean the alcoholic friend-of-a friend with mental health problems (admittedly I wasn't attracted to her). Or maybe the drunken 60 year old woman in a bar who grabbed my buttux like she were squeezing an orange?

I mean from what you were saying to me, it sounded like I have to take whatever comes along, even if they just want to use me for sex and then dump me.
Why is it okay for you to say no to bad choices but not me?

But no, I seem to recall something about an "older lady" that was interested in you, but you couldn't go there because she LOOKED old.

Dating/life isn't about just settling for the person that shows an interest. It's about finding someone that you can spend your life with, that you are comfortable with. It takes time to find to that. Even longer when you have a niche category you won't stray from. I don't have that. I don't base things in looks or hobbies or age or height, because at the end of the day, that stuff doesn't matter so much. I want someone who wants me, who cares for me, who loves me, who will hold me when I'm sad, calm me when I'm angry and jump around with me when I'm happy, someone that I can do those same things for in return.

It seemed like you had a couple of decent guys messaging you.

That was at a meetup. She looked late 50's then became obnoxious when it was clear I wasn't interested.

...Okay, you got me, I wasn't attracted and how awfully picky to not want someone who looks like a grandma.

Ever considered dating another woman then? Everyone has unstated "superficial" standards. Pretty sure you wouldn't consider a 5'4" Indian IT engineer, although I could be wrong.

Hey, Ardour. Quit trying to thin the dating pool by steering girls towards the other team. I don't want to stay single forever 😜 lol.

Well..if you really want to get technical, I suppose the proper term for me is "hookercel".
At least that's what they call it on Reddit...
thats funny 🤣 im sorry but it sounds so childish sometimes I cant help it 😂

Men just seamax and you’ll be happy 😇

Yeah, I occasionally get what seems like a decent guy, and then they run away when they find out I have a child with autism or when they realize how busy I am or when they realize that I talk to the father of my kids.

Okay, but why does it matter WHY you won't even give those women a chance? Okay, you don't want to date a grandma, that's fine, it's your life, but that wasn't my point. My point was that you have stated that you've had interest from women.

I've done my experiments with the opposite sex. Nope, I'm into men. Besides, women are way too dramatic for me. lol
Well, yeah, everyone has limits, I'm no exception. As for a 5'4 Indian IT engineer? I can't answer that, I've never met one. Honestly, the only guy I know that's under 5'5 is married. The shortest I've dated is 5'6. And it was HIM that was uncomfortable with the height difference, not me.
So yeah, I'm not really sure what my height limit is, but I have dated both shorter and taller.

I agree. The "cel" terminology is very childish. I was using it only to go along with your comment.
I've read some of the posts on Reddit and they really do classify each other using those terms.

I am not sure what "seamax" means (and I'm a little afraid to ask), but I think perhaps you meant "relax"?
For the most part, I am "OK" with the circumstances of my life.
Not "satisfied" or "fulfilled" or "happy", but I'm not a completely miserable basket case either.

I posted this recently on another site where I comment.
It's my hierarchy for male happiness.
My life is OK...

1. Happily Married (this is somewhat rare and is usually religious people, like Tim Tebow and Mitt Romney)
2. Happily single (Guys who date lots of hot young girls, like Leo DiCaprio)
3. Not so happily single but at least you still have your freedom and disposable cash (I am here)
4. Unhappily married (Guys who immerse themselves in watching sportsball, fantasy leagues, etc.. anything to escape from the harpy wife)
5. Unhappily Single (the guys who live in their parents basement, play video games and wh*ck to p0rn)
6. Miserably Divorced, financially nuked by child support & alimony, living in a studio apt overlooking an outback steakhouse -- AKA Hell on Earth (this actually happened to my brother in law)

I wouldn't expect a lonely woman to date the homeless man who catcalls her, a drug addict looking for free room and board, or a guy who just wants to use her body.No rational person would consider them as options. Being wanted by someone no sane person would want isn't a form of validation.

I consider my 'foreveralone' status more of a past tense thing anyway. Even if I am choosing to be alone now I certainly wasn't in my 20s or early 30s, and that's the part of life that counts.

But this is exactly my point. Being told "well, any woman can get a man, blah blah blah" is just wrong. Yeah, some men will screw anyone, but that's not exactly "getting" a man, is it? And yeah, most women can "get" a man, but it isn't always a man worth having. Because we do often get the cat calls and the drug addicts/alcoholics (especially where I live, considering there isn't much to do around here that doesn't involve bars and/or alcohol.) and the guys who only want sex.

All this time I've been trying to make you understand that. That just because women get MORE messages on dating sites, doesn't mean those messages are a good thing.

Yeah I was laughing at the cel language in general its hilarious to me that grown men talk like that 😅 but calling you a hookercel was the icing on the cakeee

Nooo seamax is well its like the passport movement find someone from a 3rd world country in particular.

I like that list gives me so much insight as its crazy to me how mens happiness is linked deeply to relationships I have like

Full health and sickness on my list not no bloody man 😅

The issue is Callie as much as Ardour doesnt want a granny messaging him he also wants her to message, because if no one messages in a mans mind they arent even good enough for that. Thats how much they internalise rejection and feel isolated from women. We complain of men of low to no quality messaging which is a privilege because we aren't treated like men, we at least get that, they get nothing, like 0 i cant even begin to imagine it.

Dare say you're still more likely to happen across a guy who's okay with your kids than an older virgin male here is of finding a sane partner. Doesn't seem like a long time looking yet either.

Oh, OK!
Here in the US we call that a "mail order bride".
And I will admit I have thought about it (the Philippines - because they speak English there and the girls are petite).
But here's the thing.
If a guy does this then he HAS to live in the 3rd world country.
If he brings her back to the US or Western Europe, then within a year the "nice traditional 3rd world girl" will notice how the other females are acting, and she will quickly morph into one of them. Perfect example of this is Yeonmi Park, the North Korean defector who married an American guy, had his kid, then dumped and divorced him -- presumably after her Green Card was approved.
In fact I just looked it up:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yeonmi_Park
"Park was married to an American man named Ezekiel from 2017 to 2020; they had a son together.[37] On her YouTube channel in January 2021, she said she is single and has grown apart from her former partner.[38]Park was automatically granted South Korean citizenship after arriving in Seoul in 2009.[37] Park is also a naturalized U.S. citizen.[39]"

2017 to 2020.
3 Years.
Exactly how long it takes a foreign national married to a US citizen to get a Green Card.

Yeah its interesting, makes you wonder why these men cant keep a woman, it kind of throws the “no one gives me a chance” excuse out the window

So many silly, pointless and destructive beliefs, you don’t need a degree in psychology to see why people are so miserable and declaring themselves gender neutral to escape it all.

I think deep down we championed women by pushing back men as a society and until we admit it… we will be stuck in a loop of no one benefiting.

Oh, I see it a little differently.
Like she intentionally used the poor sap for her own purposes, and them threw him away when she was done with him.

Never a good sign when she makes him hold her purse.
Even worse that he allowed it.

I suppose this is her new life post divorce.
